October 10, 2006 - Information sessions held across the province with affected staff
The employer has held information sessions with all affected staff, including AMAPCEO members and management, to outline
the milestones achieved and the next steps in the negotiations process.
The employer reiterated that there will be no immediate impact to staff until a Human Resources Agreement has been reached.
There is no specific time line on how long this will take.
The CTAR Working Group, comprised of both employer and bargaining unit members, has been regularly consulted and
will continue to be involved in the negotiations process.

October 6, 2006 - Memorandum of Agreement signed
The long awaited Memorandum of Agreement has been signed between the federal and provincial governments to
administer
a single corporations tax. A Business Services Transfer Agreement and Human Resources Transfer Agreement have yet
to be signed. There will be no impact to staff until these negotiations have been concluded and the subsequent
agreements have been signed.
